Alkabalia: a Revolutionary Club night Concept in Ibiza
The revered Middle Eastern masters Deian and Dish Dash are set to bring to Ibiza’s Avyca Alkabalia, a genuinely revolutionary night that will be on every Friday from 28 June to 19 July 2024. Music and community inside an all-new club.
Alkabalia is derived from the Arabic word ‘Qabila’, meaning ‘tribe’, and is much more than just a series of parties: it is a concept that embraces unity in diversity. Deian and Dish aim to create a unique atmosphere that combines the rich cultural heritage of the Middle East with the epic clubbing scene of Ibiza. Alkabalia will be dominated by distinctly tribal music with rhythm, groove and percussion, all in a hedonistic, mellow atmosphere. Its design will be mysterious and hypnotic, ideal for capturing the essence of a tribal and vibrant party, ideal for tantalising the sight and hearing and celebrating the blending of art and music properly.
Alkabalia’s soundtrack will be by Deian and Dish Dash, authentic innovators in the Middle Eastern music scene, thanks to whom people from all walks of life can come together dancing and celebrating the universal language of music.
Deian is the driving force behind ‘The Artist Network’ and ‘Groove on The Grass’, authentic milestone events in the Middle Eastern electronic scene, initiatives that have become important platforms and springboards for national and international artists. Dish Dash is an electronic music duo composed of the brothers Hassan and Abbas Ghazzawi, known for their music that mixes house and techno in the best possible way, which has led them to win several international awards and to play a fundamental role in the spread of this genre in the Middle East.
