One of Ibiza’s most acclaimed underground parties celebrates a decade at the top in 2023 with ANTS 10 YEARS STRONG. The famously innovative and high-concept ANTS is to take things to another level at Ushuaïa Ibiza as it looks to the future with a 22-week season, every Saturday from 6th May to 30th September, kick-starting with a trilogy of epic day-and-night extravagANTS’ers. Alongside all-new and immersive production, dancers can expect a revitalised soundtrack with a mix of new and returning residents, exciting new headliners and innovative debutants making this a truly epic season.
Always at the forefront of underground house and techno, ANTS 10 YEARS STRONG will be a season-long celebration of cutting-edge music and spectacular immersive productions on a scale never seen before. The iconic Ushuaïa Ibiza will be fully transformed, its epic pool stage at the centre of the action as innovative audio-visuals take you into another dimension. The season starts with three day-into-night events which will take place across both Ushuaïa & Hï Ibiza. They will feature carefully curated line-ups that celebrate all that is loved about the ANTS sound, with plenty of fresh additions that take the party into the next chapter and set an unthinkably high standard for the entire season ahead. This is truly going to be a year to remember.
The season-long residents are at the heart of each ANTS party and this year include long-time ANTS favourite Andrea Oliva, Brazilian hitmaker and dominating house presence Vintage Culture, the ever-present White Isle talent Chelina Manuhutu, breakout UK star SYREETA, tech house titan and Saved Record boss Nic Fanciulli and fellow tech talent Francisco Allendes.
The season starts with three day-into-night events which will take place across both Ushuaïa & Hï Ibiza, featuring carefully curated line-ups that celebrate all that is loved about the ANTS sound. Amongst many other names, watch out for headline performances from melody master Kölsch and the irrepressible party starter that is Bristol’s Eats Everything at the epic Opening Party on 6th May. The second day-into-night event on 13th May sees ANTS residents joined by acts including globe-trotting Manchester pair Solardo, Richy Ahmed and lots more, whilst 20th May brings performances from the globally renowned Drumcode chief Adam Beyer, a special b2b set from Andrea Oliva and Davide Squillace and plenty of fresh additions that take the party into the next chapter.
In addition to the top team of residents, this year ANTS will feature special headline shows from leaders in their field. These include the hugely successful German techno powerhouse that is Paul Kalkbrenner (Live) (Jun 17), high-tech minimal innovator Boris Brejcha (Jun 10, Jul 22), renowned techno pioneer Loco Dice and Mercury Music Prize winning grime artist Skepta (Aug 12), Spain’s most famous techno export Paco Osuna (Sep 30), Knee Deep In Sound boss Hot Since 82 (Sep 9), and three performances from new school house influencer Patrick Topping. Other international talents bringing their own fresh take on house and techno, include Eli & Fur, Ilario Alicante, Joris Voorn, Lauren Lane, Matthias Tanzmann, Maya Jane Coles, and Pete Tong. This is truly going to be a year to remember.
As well as the iconic names from across the electronic spectrum, ANTS keeps its eyes firmly on the future with plenty of fresh talents all making their debut this season. These much-anticipated debutANTS include live French electronic music trio Oden & Fatzo (live), longtime island favourite Tini Gessler, Moon Harbour artist Melanie Ribbe, the low slung minimal tech of cult dj East End Dubs, and acclaimed Romanian DJ & producer Mahony. Last year’s summer hit making duo LF System also join the bill, along with forward thinking Spaniard Dennis Cruz, France’s Salomé Le Chat, Miami scene staple Ms Mada, and Paris-based DJ-producer Manda Moor. All this plus plenty more cutting-edge house and techno from Drumcode’s Ida Engberg, UK selector Fleur Shore, Spanish mainstay Miane, the vibrant sounds of Los Angeles based HoneyLuv, and the emotive grooves of Italy’s Silvie Loto.
ANTS regulars making a welcoming return in 2023 include Latmun, Cloonee, Wade and Mason Collective. Uno de los eventos underground más reconocidos de Ibiza celebra una década en la cima este 2023 con ANTS 10 YEARS STRONG. La innovadora marca ANTS subirá el listón en Ushuaïa Ibiza, en una temporada de 22 semanas, cada sábado desde el 6 de mayo hasta el 30 de septiembre, comenzando con una trilogía de shows que comenzarán de día en Ushuaïa y continuarán por la noche en Hï Ibiza. Además de una producción totalmente nueva e inmersiva, los clubbers pueden esperar una banda sonora de la mano de nuevos artistas residentes y artistas que regresan, nuevos cabezas de cartel y artistas emergentes que harán de esta, una temporada verdaderamente épica.
Siempre a la vanguardia del house y techno más underground, ANTS 10 YEARS STRONG será una temporada de celebración que combinará música y producciones espectaculares a una escala nunca vista antes. El icónico Ushuaïa Ibiza se transformará por completo una vez más, con su espectacular escenario como centro de la acción mientras los innovadores elementos audiovisuales te transportarán a otra dimensión. La temporada comenzará con tres eventos de día a noche que tendrán lugar en Ushuaïa y Hï Ibiza. Contarán con lineups cuidadosamente seleccionados que celebrarán todo lo que se ama del sonido ANTS, con muchas incorporaciones frescas que llevarán a la marca al siguiente capítulo y establecerán un estándar inimaginablemente alto durante toda la temporada. Verdaderamente este será simplemente un año para recordar.
Los residentes de la temporada son el corazón de cada fiesta ANTS y este año incluyen al favorito de ANTS desde hace mucho tiempo, Andrea Oliva, al creador de éxitos brasileño y referente del house, Vintage Culture, a la talentosa y habitual de la Isla Blanca, Chelina Manuhutu, a la estrella emergente británica SYREETA, al titán del tech house y líder de Saved Record, Nic Fanciulli y al otro grande del tech Francisco Allendes.
Además del excelente elenco de residentes, este año ANTS contará con actuaciones especiales de figuras destacadas en su campo. Encontramos entre ellas al gigante del techno, el alemán Paul Kalkbrenner (Live) (17 junio), al innovador Boris Brejcha (10 y 22 de julio) precursor del ‘high-tech minimal’, al líder del sello Desolat y reconocido pionero del techno, Loco Dice, al máximo referente internacional del techno español, Paco Osuna (30 de septiembre), a los representantes de la nueva escuela de house Patrick Topping de Trick, a Hot Since 82 líder de Knee Deep In Sound y a Solardo, el duo de Manchester más global además de al mundialmente conocido líder de Drumcode, Adam Beyer, y al imparable de Bristol, Eats Everything. Otros talentos internacionales que aportarán su visión del house y el techno serán Kölsch, Eli & Fur, Ilario Alicante, Joris Voorn, Lauren Lane, Matthias Tanzmann, Maya Jane Coles y Pete Tong.
Entre los nombres más emblemáticos de todo el espectro electrónico, ANTS mantiene su mirada firme en el futuro presentando a un gran número de nuevos talentos esta temporada. Entre los debutantes más esperados se encuentran el trío francés de música electrónica en directo Oden & Fatzo, la favorita de la isla desde hace tiempo Tini Gessler, la artista de Moon Harbour Melanie Ribbe, el minimal tech de culto de East End Dubs y el aclamado DJ y productor rumano Mahony. El dúo LF System, que tanto triunfó el año pasado, también se une al cartel, junto con el visionario español Dennis Cruz, la francesa Salomé Le Chat, el pilar de la escena de Miami Ms Mada y la DJ y productora afincada en París Manda Moor. Todo esto además de mucho más house y techno de vanguardia de la mano de Ida Engberg de Drumcode, de la selectora británica Fleur Shore, del pilar español Miane, de los vibrantes sonidos de HoneyLuv con base en Los Ángeles y de los emotivos ritmos de la italiana Silvie Loto.
