After last year’s first edition, Panorama Festival is growing exponentially and becoming a traveling event, with five dates spread across three locations between Valle d’Itria and Salento: Monopoli Bylla Arena, Salento Arena in Santa Cesarea Terme (the concert area of Guendalina Club, Italy’s number one venue according to DJ Mag’s Top 100 Clubs), and Macramè in Monopoli. This year, Panorama Festival is accompanied by the slogan “August Around Apulia” and offers a unique experience that combines the best of world DJing, the magic of electronic music, the untouched beauty of the surrounding areas, excellent local cuisine, and much more.
Saturday, August 12, 2023 (starting at 11:00 PM), Monopoli Bylla Arena in Capitolo (Bari): Solomun. Panorama Festival kicks off in the best possible way with Solomun’s only summer show in Southern Italy this year. For over 15 years, DJ and producer Solomun has been an absolute reference for his sound and musical selections. His Solomun+1 party at Pacha has always been a must during the Ibiza summer, as well as his sets at festivals like Coachella, Exit, and Time Warp, and in clubs all over the world, from Los Angeles to Shanghai. His set will take place in the brand-new and hyper-technological Monopoli Bylla Arena, just steps away from the sea. Monopoli has so much to offer: its paradisiacal beaches like Cala Porto, Cala Monaci, and Cala Paradiso, with their crystal-clear waters and hidden coves, not to mention its historic center characterized by picturesque streets, historic churches, and the imposing Castle of Charles V overlooking the harbor.
Sunday, August 13, 2023 (starting at 10:00 PM), Salento Arena in Santa Cesarea Terme (Lecce): The Martinez Brothers presents Cuttin’ Headz. Cuttin’ Headz is the record label of The Martinez Brothers, representing 100% New York electronic music, capable of exploring the most underground house and ancestral techno. Their parties take place in select locations such as Ibiza, New York, and, of course, Salento. At the Guendalina Club’s concert area, The Martinez Brothers will perform in a b2b set with Marco Carola, alongside Seth Troxler, Ale De Tuglie, and Matisa. On this occasion, the musical energy of Cuttin’ Headz will merge with the beauty of the region, with its natural pools in Marina Serra, the cliffs of Castro Marina, and the enchanting landscapes of Santa Cesarea Terme. It’s also a great opportunity to enjoy the culinary delights of Puglia, its specialties, and its traditional dishes.
Monday, August 14, 2023 (starting at 10:00 PM), Salento Arena in Santa Cesarea Terme (Lecce): Peggy Gou presents Gou Talk. In an absolute preview for Italy, Peggy Gou returns to Panorama Festival with her Gou Talk party featuring Hunee, Mumdance, and FKA.M4A. Few artists have had such a global impact as Korean artist Peggy Gou. Among the many gems in her artistic journey is the 2019 Dj Kicks! compilation, a series reserved only for the best DJs on the planet. It’s a demonstration of class and strength at the same time, a selection that spans time and space. Equally remarkable is her brand-new single “(It Goes Like) Na Na Na,” which anticipates her upcoming album on the XL Recordings label in the coming weeks. As a daytime excursion to accompany the festival, there’s nothing better than exploring the Bauxite Quarry in Otranto, known for its turquoise waters nestled among rugged red rocks. It’s truly a unique experience.
Tuesday, August 15, 2023 (starting at 4:00 PM), Macramé in Monopoli (Bari): The Blessed Madonna. Panorama Festival returns to Monopoli at Macramé, with The Blessed Madonna at the center of the scene. In recent years, few artists have had such an impact as The Blessed Madonna, with remixes for The Chemical Brothers, Florence & The Machine, and unexpectedly, Elton John. Her collaboration with Dua Lipa on the album “Future Nostalgia” is another standout in her extraordinary career, which has seen her collaborate with superstars like Madonna and Lady Gaga and perform in the best clubs and festivals around the world. Her appearance at Panorama Festival is her only show in Italy this summer. With Panorama Festival, you can enjoy a unique environment with reserved areas, premium bars, chill-out zones, and a food area dedicated to the best culinary proposals from Puglia. It’s a context and content that are perfectly combined.
Wednesday, August 16, 2023 (starting at 4:00 PM), Monopoli Bylla Arena in Capitolo (Bari): Mochakk, Honey Dijon, Carlita, Seth Troxler, William Djoko, and many others. Panorama Festival concludes with a musical marathon that carries the intense Ibiza flavor. In recent months, Mochakk‘s rise has been simply unstoppable. Raised by his parents on a diet of disco and rock, he discovered electronic music, particularly house music, as a teenager and never looked back. He quickly caught the attention of Pete Tong, who crowned his “Sombrero Sam” as an Essential New Tune on BBC Radio 1, and The Martinez Brothers, who had him remix their track “Rizzla” last year. Mochakk will arrive at Panorama Festival after performing at Coachella, for the Cercle platform, the opening of Circoloco in Ibiza, and Tomorrowland. Honey Dijon is an absolute icon, not only in electronic music, fresh from the successes of her critically acclaimed album “Black Girl Magic” and her Grammy Awards win for her contribution to Beyoncé’s “Renaissance.” She has had an extraordinary career, collaborating with superstars like Madonna and Lady Gaga and performing at the best clubs and festivals worldwide. Her appearance at Panorama Festival is her only show in Italy this summer. Italo-Turkish DJ and producer Carlita has quickly gone from being a young promise to a solid certainty. Highly appreciated in the fashion circuit, she often performs for top brands such as Prada, Jimmy Choo, Dsquared, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton with her party “Senza Fine.” On Wednesday, August 16, Panorama Festival will allow you to savor the sounds and rhythms of many top DJs in a fairy-tale setting, with the best panorama offered by the Adriatic coasts.
A lineup featuring the best DJs, organized by Italy’s number one club according to DJ Mag’s Top 100 Clubs, breathtaking landscapes and settings, delicious cuisine, warm hospitality, and an atmosphere of a grand celebration—these are elements that are extremely difficult to find in a single event, elements that contribute to making Panorama Festival truly unique.
