«Osanisiya»: El Mukuka new single
Zambia born multifaceted artist El Mukuka is gearing up to release his new single «Osanisiya» with Mozambican Afro House label My Other Side of the Moon, out December 2023, Friday 15th. This track features Y.Loh from the USA, Frigid Armadillo duo from South Africa, and the vocals of Mumba Yashi from Zambia.
El Mukuka, born Eleftherios Mukuka, has carved a distinctive niche in the dance music scene, straddling the line between mainstream and underground. His upbringing in Zambia, with a Greek mother and Zambian father, has not only shaped his unique identity but also served as a wellspring of inspiration for his music. A Berklee College of Music alumnus, El Mukuka has performed in over 15 countries and graced the stages of major dance music festivals, including Ultra Music Festival South Africa, Corona Sunsets South Africa and Vic Falls Carnival.
Renowned for infusing traditional African music with Western deep house and pop, El Mukuka’s international career has been on a steady ascent. In 2020, he secured a worldwide artist deal with the heavyweight record label Ultra Records, solidifying his status as a rising star in the global music scene.
