There are few universal languages with the same strength, impact and magic as trance music, an electronic music genre born in Germany in the 1990s boasting a community of millions and a series of DJs who have long been protagonists in the best music festivals worldwide.
For one unique event, all of this become real in Italy as well, thanks to the one-day festival Spirit of Trance, scheduled in Piazza Trento Trieste in Ferrara, Italy, featuring Aly & Fila, Markus Schulz, Noyse Kompressor, Paul van Dyk and Vini Vici. In Spirit Of Trance DJ sets of authentic maestros will be celebrated in an atypical setting like a unique medieval square, symbolizing nobility and elegance, identity and tradition of Ferrara, ideal for creating an atmosphere capable of blending history and modernity.
The Spirit of Trance lineup features the Egyptian duo Aly & Fila, among the very few electronic artists who have ever performed at the Pyramids of Giza, the German Markus Schulz, the quintessential trance DJ if there ever was one, the Ferrarese Noyse Kompressor, a talent on the rise both in Italy and abroad, the German Paul van Dyk, featured in the DJ Mag Top 100 since 1997, whose radio show VONYC Sessions has just surpassed the milestone of 900 episodes and the Israelis Vini Vici, absolute standard-bearers of psy trance, averaging 200 shows per year.
Trance music has given birth to authentic anthems not only for the dance floor, including “For An Angel” by Paul van Dyk, performed multiple times orchestrally, “Great Spirit” by Vini Vici and “It’s All About The Melody” by Aly & Fila.
